Platoro to Lower Lagunitas Campground Photos

The morning descent went through this nice valley

Good morning, Valley!

Then a paved climb. I like how the road is flat and then, eff you, 6 mile uphill!

Part way up, looking back at the valley. I rode down the right side of it there (left side, when descending)

up up up!

Top!

This is the type of place where I eat lunches. Shade, anywhere.

I'm about to turn onto the rough road. You can see if snaking off into the distance.

A narrow guage rail road is still operational in the area for tourists!

Yes! Add Colorado to the list of states I've biked across!

This storm chased me for while.

This flutterbye hitchiked on me for a good 45 minutes.

Aannnnd time for shitty road photos.

And Murder Mud.

This was a 35 minute, half mile push straight up.

The top was cool though. That storm is the one from the earlier photos. It missed!

Gee, which one will I pick?

Then, suddenly, forested shitty roads!

Seriously, wtf? How can even an ATV drive on this?

Finally, my lakeside home!

I set my tent up by that picnic table to protect me from falling trees, as if evidenced in the area. Also, photo taken from where I was preparing food, because, bears.

My water source.

And, the first photo I took this morning leaving Platoro.
