A touch of pavement. I find those yellow lines beautiful.
These alpine cows ran with me for while. Maybe not out of comradery but fear, but, hey, sorry cow?
Climb it up! What a beautiful spot to spend hours sweating and grunting.
The top!
The downhill had a lot of more New Mexico style rocks.
A touch of pavement
A touch of very wide SUPER washboarded roads. You can't tell, but riding on this SUCKED.
So wide, yet wasboarded from ditch to ditch!
I saw here for about 30 minuute waiting out that storm, but still caught a corner of it.
This was taken in the rain, climbing a difficult road.
Enter: fun doubletrack!
Wait, what? Which way? (they met up later, turns out)
Giant red ant hills abounded!
This whole 10 mile section required significant mt bike skills. Del Norte is off in the distance (just to the left of the giant rain plume)
Wait.. where do I go now? (right, it turns out)
This guy led this horse around from his car...
The Rio Grand!
Where I am now, slightly drunk, in Del Norte
The first picture always last, my wonderful morning downhill. Downhills for breakfast!
... tomorrow is a 4,000 foot 27 mile uphill for breakfast....
