Pie Town to Collins Park

There are 6 liters of water in that bear bag strapped to my handlebars.

Early morning views leaving Pie Town

This is an old church

Then a nice climb into trees

Hey look, I found Kiwis! Andrew and Diana!

Then we rode out into endless nowhere.

but 40 miles in, a trail angel left us water and snacks!

If you look across this vast expanse, you can see the ranch where the snacks were.

Biking into endless nothing

Somewhere around here as a smoldering prescribed burn from a few days ago.

Nearing Collins Park, we crossed the Divide a couple times up here.

These roads are no good wet, so lets up the rain that's happening now stops. As I caption this, thunderstorms, but little rain, and sunlight...

I had my pick of "campsites" in a several miles area.

The Kiwis Arrived!

Camp from far away

And... the water I'm drinking now.
